Video released of deadly police-involved shooting of man in Berlin Twp., NJ

WEST BERLIN, N.J. (WPVI) -- The New Jersey Attorney General's Office released a video related to a deadly police-involved shooting.

It happened in Berlin Township in July 2025.

The Attorney General's office says 37-year-old Shawn Phillips pulled out a gun when two state police detectives approached him.

One detective fired his service weapon, shooting and killing Phillips.

State police have not revealed why Phillips was under investigation.
